TYSON SMITH

I offer private lessons in Wellington, New Zealand or anywhere via Zoom (or similar). 

I have been teaching guitar lessons for over 20 years. Since basing myself in Wellington the last 15 years, I have taught guitar at various high schools including Marsden College, Wellington College and Newlands College. I was also a tutor at Whitireia Polytech for several years, teaching guitar, music theory, band classes and improvisation.
I have done two slots as a guest tutor at "Musicmatters" in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Lessons can cover guitar technique, music theory, improvisation, songwriting and music production and can cover a range of styles including blues, folk, jazz and rock.
